Dottinghill uses PayPal for any credit card payments and does not store any sensitive information like your credit card information.
In order to score designs, submit original and spotted designs as well as access some other features of the Website, you will have to sign up for residency (i.e. create an account) and be a registered user of the Website ("Resident"). You are not allowed to use another Resident's account without permission. When you sign up for residency, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account, and you must keep your account password secure. You may change your password at any time by updating your Profile page.
You agree not to collect or use any personal information including but not limited to resident IDs, email addresses, or other Resident Submissions (as defined below), from the Website, nor use the communication systems provided by the Website for any commercial solicitation purposes, including without limitation to solicit, for commercial purposes, any users of the Website.
"Resident Submissions" mean any work of authorship or other form of expression made or placed on the Website by a Resident or any user, including but not limited to images, graphics, photographs, information, data, files, text, ideas, refinements, suggestions, comments, feedback, votes, ratings, scores, reviews, sounds, music, contributions, ideas and all other substantive input of any kind. Resident Submissions include but is not limited to all modifications of and revisions to Resident Submissions that were previously made or placed on the Website.
The interactive nature of postings on the Website makes it impossible for Dottinghill to assume responsibility for any Resident Submissions or any materials posted by users. Dottinghill does not endorse Resident Submissions, and we make no guarantee regarding the reliability, accuracy, or quality of any Resident Submission that is posted on the Website. You acknowledge that you will evaluate and bear any risks related to your use of any Resident Submission, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such Resident Submission. All Resident Submissions posted to the Website are the sole responsibility of the person who originally posted the Resident Submission, and your sole recourse for any damage you may suffer as a result of Resident Submissions shall be to such individual.
You specifically acknowledge that Dottinghill shall not be liable for Resident Submissions or for any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party and that the risk of harm or damage from the foregoing rests entirely with you.
You shall be solely responsible for your own Resident Submission and the consequences of posting or publishing them. You retain all of your ownership rights in your Resident Submissions. However, by submitting the Resident Submissions to Dottinghill and to the Website, you hereby grant Dottinghill a worldwide, royalty-free, and transferable right and license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the Resident Submissions in connection with the Website and Dottinghill's (and its successor's) business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Website (and derivative works thereof) in any media now known or hereafter developed. The foregoing license granted by you terminates once you remove or delete a Resident Submission from the Website.
If you are submitting a design to the Website for the purpose of scoring and evaluation by Dottinghill and other Residents ("Design Submissions") for possible use by Dottinghill, you agree to the additional Terms and Conditions for Design Submissions.
If you are submitting details of a design you spotted, you agree to the additional Terms and Conditions for Spotters.
If you choose to post Resident Submissions on any of the pages of the Website, you are not allowed to:
Dottinghill expressly disclaims any and all liability in connection with Resident Submissions. Dottinghill reserves the right to remove Resident Submissions in its sole discretion and without prior notice. Dottinghill also reserves the right to terminate a Resident's access to the Website at any time in its sole discretion and without prior notice.
Scoring on Design Submissions will be based on a scale determined by Dottinghill. Dottinghill reserves the right to revise the scale and adjust the results to an equivalent point on the new scale.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on the Website. Because of varied display technology available to display our Website, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.
Dottinghill reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Dottinghill shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Website.
Dottinghill may also, in its sole discretion, modify the features, availability, operation and/or look and feel of the Website from time to time without notice.
You agree not to circumvent, disable, reverse engineer, or otherwise interfere with the Website, security features of the Website, or features of the Website that prevent or restrict use or copying of any content on the Website.

Dottinghill respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same. This specifically includes Design Submissions. Dottinghill reserves the right, in its discretion, to remove any Resident Submission if we believe it may infringe the copyright rights of others, and/or to terminate the accounts of Residents whom we believe to be infringers.
If you believe that your work has been copied or posted on the Website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send an email to hey@dottinghill.com.
Please note that you may be liable for damages, including court costs and attorneys fees, if you materially misrepresent that content on the Website and/or service is copyright infringing.
We will always do our best to ensure that the information available on the Website is up to date and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it will be error free because humans run the Website. In case of an error that has been brought to our attention we will do our best to correct it as quickly as possible.
Dottinghill does not accept liability for any errors on the Website and has the right to change information, images, specifications and descriptions of any products or services.
